Welcome to the GH Online Video Vault, where you can watch classic clips from 30 years of Grange Hill. In order to get the best of these pages, here are some help tips and also the legal requirements of its users.
How do I view the clips?
Almost all the clips in our Video Vault are RealMedia clips, and will require the latest version of RealPlayer for viewing. If you do not have the latest version, it can be downloaded free of charge at http://uk.real.com.
To download a clip, right-click on the green PLAY icon on the TV screen and click "Save Target As". Then select a location on your hard drive where you would like the file to be stored.
To view the notes accompanying each clip, left-click the purple INFO icon and the commentary will appear in a pop-up window. Make sure you have pop-ups enabled or you will not be able to view these.
By popular request, we are currently experimenting with Flash video for certain clips. For these you will need Flash Player 7 or later installed on your computer.
Flash videos will be indicated by the Flash symbol. To view these videos, click the green PLAY icon and the video will appear in a pop-up, along with accompanying notes, and will begin playing immediately. Once again, it is necessary to ensure that pop-ups are enabled on your browser.
We would very much appreciate your feedback on the introduction of Flash video, so please click here to contact us with your thoughts. If feedback is favourable we will look to convert all video to Flash format.
